Cookies

the Cookies i made dun smell like those from famous amos but i very happy with my 1st trial results. Not too sweet. crispy.

thus I would like to share the recipe. tried & tested.

my guinea pigs verdict: great! (who r my guinea pigs: my mama, papa, bros)


Ingredients
3/4 cup unsalted butter, soften
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cup of all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
200g chocolate chips (unsweeten)
and a bit of milk

Method:
Preheat oven to 180deg
Sift flour thogether with baking powder.
Cream together butter n sugar until fluffy. Add egg, vanilla n blend in.
Mix the rest of the dry ingredients then stir in the choclate
drop the cookie dough onto greased baking sheetings and bake for 10-15mins

Turkey

Finally, touched my foot in turkey on 27 may 2007 after a nearly 12 hr flight. turkish airline was better (They offered bottled water, nice food and personal tv / games / audio) than my expectation EXCEPT for some fierce stewardess. The silliest thing i done: brought 9 bottles of 1L water from Singapore to Turkey cos the guide told us tat the water was expensive. sooo worried that the water will burst out due to the pressure but PHEW.. nothing happen. if not all my clothes r wet.

Turkey was EXOTIC. The weather was not too warm or cold but in cappadocia.. it was hot (cos there's not much trees for shade). The toilet is expensive: 50 lira to entre.. that's abt 60cents!

There's a town called Denizli (yes, it sounds exactly like denise lee)
i celebrated my brithday there. its quite memorable cos my friends pretended that they forgotten all about it but during dinner time, here came the cake. so sweet. Take a look at my photos here!
